What are the requirements to become a license holder of Multiple Streams of Coaching Income?
We ask that you have at least 6 months of coaching, teaching or facilitation experience, and, have read, listened, digested and applied the concepts in addition to purchasing the materials in the teaching license. If you do not have developed your own Multiple Streams of Coaching Income, we strongly recommend you spend 3 months studying and applying the materials before attempting to teach them. And, if you would like to strengthen your coaching or facilitating skills, we suggest you invest in coach training, either at a school selected by you, or through Thomas Leonard’s 15 Coaching Proficiencies home-study kit.
What can I do with the materials?
You can create online courses such as a one-hour class, a 4, 6, 8 or other length of class. You can create multi-day workshops or trainings. In each case, the only requirement is that all participants must purchase their own copy of the book, Multiple Streams of Coaching Income, or, the book and Workbook together, as required texts for your offering. In terms of modification, you may not modify the materials themselves, however your program creations are your own to craft. So long as the program contains 50% or more material from the above, the requirement to use the Multiple Streams of Coaching Income book as text stands. Should you alter the material by more than 50%, we request that you refrain from calling it a Multiple Streams of Coaching Income program.
In modifying, we require that you remain true to the message and quality of the materials. It is the intent of this license to lend credibility and visibility to license holders.
Last but not least, if you wish to create individual coaching packages around this material, once again, please ensure that your clients purchase their own copy of the materials. You may bill yourself as a Multiple Streams of Coaching Income Licensed Coach, Facilitator or Trainer. Or, a Multiple Streams Licensed Coach, Licensed Facilitator or Licensed Trainer.
What can I charge for the programs?
It is entirely your choice what you charge for your programs, as this will depend on your target audience, duration, format and style of offerings, and more elements. We encourage you to use the individual coaching time that comes with your license to help develop this strategy.
Some common packaging and pricing for the material include:
An 8 week teleclass series priced at US$150 to $500.
A 2-day workshop priced at US$195 to $995.
Group coaching programs lasting up to a year priced at US$99 to 250 and more per month.
In general you may find you can charge more if you include business coaching sessions in tandem with the curriculum, however you may choose to deliver the above in teaching format and offer additional coaching support separately. Again it is entirely up to you.
Are there a lot of other license holders?
There is no limit to geographical area for any license holder. Nor are there target market or demographic constraints. Beginning in 2010, we will list all license holders in a directory so that you can view them. As this is a new licensed offering, you will be one of the first to hit the market. It is our intent that the market not be glutted with license holders in the same marketplace causing damage to the value of the material. As such, we do review all purchases of the license.
How can my participants get copies of the book and workbook when they sign up with me?
It doesn’t matter to us how the participant gets their copies, but here are the major ways we think it can be arranged best:
Invite the participants to get their own copies, whether through Amazon.com or at our site at www.mythoughtpartners.com/shop. You are welcome to use your affiliate link to facilitate this.
Provide copies directly from you, in one of two ways. (1) Buy them at wholesale price from us directly, then resell (at your selected price point) to your participants. Or, (2) buy them wholesale and include them as part of your offering at no extra charge. In both these cases, you will be responsible for shipping to your participants.
